VTG Hasami Yaki Porcelain Lattice Reticulated Footed Bowl JAPAN

Description

This vintage Hasami Yaki porcelain lattice work, or reticulated, footed bowl features blue designs against a brilliant white background. It is 8 7/8" across and 3 1/8" tall. The foot, accented in blue inside and out, is 3/4" deep and 4 1/4" in diameter. The gently scalloped ledge rim with flowers interspersed with vines is a max 3/4" wide. The center medallion with a large lotus flower and leaves is 4 1/8" in diameter. The base has a clear maker's mark.
There are no chips, no cracks. No scratches were found.
On the foot's interior, there are four equidistant spots of yellowing.  The symmetry strongly suggests that these marks were made when the bowl was created. This discoloration does not mar its presentation.
