This amazing relic signed, stamped and dated August 23rd., 1974 during the height of his boxing career. Stevenson, a man of strong convictions was offered millions of dollars to leave Cuba turn pro but loyalty and pride of country were far greater than money. His famous quote of "I'd rather be red than rich," will always be remembered. Many felt he could have competed with the likes of Frazier, Foreman and even Muhammad Ali. Stevenson stood 6" 5" weighed 220 pounds and moved with the grace of a welterweight. His boxing record of 301-20, often rated as the greatest Amateur Boxer of all time.
