    Description

    The item for sale is a group of five small Japanese dishes that are carved out of Keyaki wood that has been coated in clear lacquer.  The dishes are decorated with concentric groove that are very close together.  It is believed that these dishes serve a purpose in tea ceremonies.  They have never been used and are in their original box.  They were imported from Japan in the early 1990s with an original price of 2900 yen.  The diameter of the dishes is 2 3/8".
