On this great day on the Bay we are indeed delighted to offer this intriguing Japanese Mino Ware Imai large ceramic tea bowl, known also as a chawan (tea bowl) for Japanese chado (tea ceremony). This finely potted hand thrown chawan measures approximately 6” diameter x 3" high. It is in excellent condition, showing no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. It is signed on the base.
