    Description

Exceptional pair of Kutani porcelain bowls.  Rare cabbage leaf shaped and feature a seated poet/scholar in contemplative pose. He is surrounded by a blossoming cherry tree with a scroll in hand.  Bowl has moriagi and Arita components but the colors and subject matter are unmistakably Kutani.
Each has a hand signed generic Kutani mark.
No condition issues save craze.  No chips, cracks, or repairs.
Each measures 5 5/8 across and just over 2 inches tall.
